In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), CODAID successfully carried out a General Food Distribution (GFD+) program in Budi County, Eastern Equatoria State. The project aimed to combat hunger and promote self-sufficiency among displaced and vulnerable populations.
Key Achievements:
✔ Provided essential food aid to thousands of beneficiaries in hard-to-reach areas
✔ Empowered communities through sustainable farming initiatives in Faraska, where beneficiaries cultivated farms as part of the GFD+ program
✔ Overcame logistical challenges by delivering aid to remote areas without road access
In addition to emergency food relief, CODAID integrates livelihood programs that equip people with agricultural skills and economic opportunities, ensuring long-term self-reliance.
Our work in food security, health, education, and peacebuilding continues to create meaningful change for South Sudanese communities.
