Who We Are

Community Development Aid (CODAID) is a national non-governmental organization committed to providing relief, recovery, and sustainable development for vulnerable communities in South Sudan. Since our founding in 2017, we have worked tirelessly to improve lives affected by war, natural disasters, and economic hardships.

Our Mission

To promote equal opportunities and empower war-affected communities—including children, orphans, women, widows, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and youth—by addressing their urgent needs, providing humanitarian aid, and equipping them with knowledge and skills for self-sufficiency.

Our Vision

To be the leading indigenous organization fostering equal opportunities for all South Sudanese affected by conflict and disasters, enhancing their living conditions and promoting sustainable development.

What We Do

CODAID operates in key sectors to bring lasting impact to communities: Health & Nutrition – Providing essential healthcare services and nutrition programs WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) – Ensuring access to clean water and sanitation facilities Education & Child Protection – Promoting access to education and safeguarding vulnerable children Food Security & Livelihoods – Supporting agriculture, food distribution, and economic empowerment Gender-Based Violence & Peacebuilding – Advocating for human rights and conflict resolution
